Amber Alert Details:
The Texas Department of Public Safety has issued an Amber Alert for a 3-day-old girl abducted from Covenant Lakeside Hospital in Lubbock.
Authorities said Mychael Darthard, a black female, measures 19 inches long and weighs 10 pounds. She is possibly jaundiced.
About 1:20 a.m. Saturday, police believe the newborn was abducted by a black female in her early 20s who is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds with a medium build and light complexion. That woman has black hair and dark eyes. The woman was last seen wearing a flower-print scrub shirt, light blue scrub pants and a gray puffy jacket. Her hair was pulled together with a scrunchy.
