Details of Abduction:
The Lancaster Police Department and The Texas Department of Public Safety have issued an Amber Alert for a boy they said was taken at gunpoint by three males.
As the teen was talking with friends around 5:40 p.m., police said three black males jumped out of a car, which witnesses described as a gray or silver Chevrolet Impala, and began chasing 16-year-old Franklin King in the 1500 block of North Bluegrove Road.
Armed with a handgun, witnesses said the men forced King into the Impala. One of the suspects, 21-year-old Lawrence D. Reynolds, is armed.
He is also wanted for two separate burglary incidents. The other two suspects are said to go by the nicknames "Twin" and "O.J."

Details of Abduction:
The Fort Wayne Police Department and The Indiana State Police have issued an Amber Alert on behalf of a 3-year-old child believed abducted by the Grand Parents on 04/09/07.
Jason Renne Gavina is believed to be taken by his grandparents, Juan and Marisela Gavina, toward Truth or Consequences, N.M.
The Gavinas were driving a green, four-door, 1997 Dodge Intrepid with an Indiana license plate QW 9276, police said. They said the vehicle was headed south on Interstate 69, and was expected to go west on Interstate 70 to Interstate 25 to New Mexico.
Police said Jason is 2 feet, 5 inches tall, 36 pounds, and has short and straight brown hair and brown eyes, with a half-inch scar over his left eye.

Amber Alert Details:
The North Tonawanda Police Department has activated the New York State AMBER Alert and is investigating a confirmed child abduction that occurred at 268 Tremont Street, in North Tonawanda at about 8:59 PM on 4/2/2007.
The CHILD, Serenity L. Platts is a White female, approximately 4 years 1 month old with blonde hair and blue eyes. She is approximately 3 feet and weighs about 32 pounds. Serenity was last seen wearing a pink long sleeve sleeper with a Winnie the Pooh emblem and a red fleece.
The SUSPECT, David J. Grover is a White male, approximately 29 years old with brown hair and hazel eyes. He is approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 230 pounds.

Amber Alert Cancellation Details:
The Washington State Police have canceled the Amber Alert for Remi and Lars Baugher. The child are safe and the father is in custody. The FBI reports they were found safe in Colorado. They were found and their father was arrested on a bus just outside Denver.

Amber Alert Details:
The Washington State Police has issued an Amber Alert for two Walla Walla children. The suspect and the victim were last spotted in Waitsburg on 03/25/07.
The suspect is the children's biological father, John Baugher, and due to his recent mental issues, it is believed the children could be in immediate danger. He is a 34-year-old white male and is 5-7 with brown hair and green eyes.
The Victims:
One of the children is Remi Baugher. She is 4-years-old with blonde hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink jacket with a yellow jacket over the top. She was also wearing strawberry shortcake shoes.

The Colorado Amber Alert has been canceled for Riley Thompson. The suspect accused of taking the 8-year old boy is still at large. Riley Thompson was located around 8:30 pm Sunday evening. Police would not say where he was found.

Amber Alert Details:
The Elbert County Sheriff's Office and The Colorado State Police have issued an Amber Alert for 8-year-old Riley Thompson, who was abducted in Elbert County about 3:15 p.m. Sunday. Riley is an African-American boy, about 4 feet tall and 45 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing black sweats, a yellow t-shirt and a black hoodie sweatshirt.
Officials say he was taken by 25-year-old Bryant Hall, a black man with brown eyes and a shaved head or very short hair. He is 5-feet-8 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds. He has tattoos on the corners of his left and right eyes and was last seen wearing black sweats, a white shirt and black tennis shoes.
Hall is considered armed and dangerous.

There has never been a time, at least in recent memory, when our children were more vulnerable to the threat of strangers. Whether online or in rural areas and big cities, we are facing a pandemic of kidnappings; online pedophiles, and what appears to be an attack on our children. It is vital, then, that you talk to your kids about strangers.
